J. Paul Henderson was a successful R&B and Top 40 radio DJ in the 1960's and 70's, working at stations in five of the top ten radio markets. In 1967, TIME Magazine named him one of the top three rock & roll radio personalities in America. Now working in Charlotte, North Carolina, as an advertising and communication consultant, his passion is still the music.
Telma Hopkins began her career as a studio "session" singer. Her voice is featured on records with combined total sales greater than that of the Beatles and Elvis, combined. She later became a member of the 1970's super group, Tony Orlando and Dawn. Now a successful actress with numerous supporting roles in motion pictures and popular TV series to her credit, Telma lives and works inLos Angeles.
J. Paul and Telma met each other in 1966 during a recording session at Detroit's legendary United Sound Systems recording studio. Today they share a friendship and a determination to see the music preserved.
